There is a new form of music in Toronto and it is be touted around town through a company called 74 Experience. I sat down with one of the contributors to this project to learn more about what they are trying to create.
Sean is a solo artist that goes by the title Essare. His style of music would be Alternative Indie Pop. The sound is fresh and young. Sean’s influences come from other artists like, Steve Lacy, Tai Verdes, and Gus Dapperton. His instruments of choice would be a Midi keyboard that can produce a variety of sounds, like drums or synth or string instruments.
Being a young artist, Sean sticks to what young artists stick to. He is on a self-discovery journey to find himself and to do that through the veil of love.

Now with 74 Experience, Sean is a co-founder of a company that wants to showcase live music. They want to use other kinds of places that are not clubs to perform their music. Since the pandemic, live streaming shows need to be live again. People should go out and be with live music.
Speaking of live music, Essare is hosting a night of music that will showcase his new EP, Stages. This will be taking place at The Smith House, 171 College St on November 15, 2024, starting at 7pm. So the lineup will be Essare and Carry On together. Apparently Carry On has no baggage issues, Haha. Also on the bill are Kilcasca (R&B Indie), Avro Arrows (Soft Rock Indie) and DJ Casp3r.
74 Experience is a growing company that is representing 10-15 different artists. I think what they are trying to accomplish is to do shows around town like a travelling circus. They would like to stick to an Indie, Pop, Rock theme, but mix up the artists on the bill to keep things fresh and new.
This company is always on the lookout for fresh talent, so if you would like more information, just send them a text through Instagram and begin the conversation. They would like it if you had some kind of following so you can add to the collective nature of this company and grow and network to help get you more exposure. If you feel you are ready to start going to the next level of success, this is a good forum to look into.

If this sounds like the kind of show you would like to go to, here is the link to buy your tickets. Please use the code “blast” to receive a discount on your ticket purchase.

74 experience is always a great show, I am so tired of clubs and I am happy there is something new on the scene.
Artists are finding creative ways to promote their live shows, and 74 Experience is adding flavour to the Toronto sound.
