Veiled Garden Toronto Brings an Intimate Night of Live Music, Art and Whimsy to
Toronto’s West End
Veiled Garden’s grassroots backyard concert series is returning this Sunday, August 16 with a
lineup of female-led emerging Toronto Artists.
Toronto, ON – August 11, 2026, This Sunday, August 16, Veiled Garden is once again
transforming a backyard in the heart of Toronto’s Little Italy into an intimate outdoor music
venue, bringing together some of the city’s brightest emerging artists and music lovers for an
evening of live music, community, and a little bit of magic.
Running from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, the latest Veiled Garden event will feature performances from
Hannah Vig (@hannahvig_), Alexia (@alexiadavidescu_), That Boy Dancing
(@thatboydancing), and Redhed (@redhed.fr). Designed as a way to discover new artists with
friends, Veiled Garden offers an intimate and immersive alternative to traditional concerts.
The idea of Veiled Garden emerged last summer as a way to promote independent artists by
helping them build a fan base from the ground up and reach new audiences. The event series
was created on the belief that aspiring artists deserve a space where they can experiment and
connect directly with audiences, helping build a community around their music.
“As a singer-songwriter myself, I wanted to create something that allowed artists to be
organically discovered by music lovers, and truly connect to the people that enjoy their music,”
says Rebekah Wise, the founder of Veiled Garden. “Toronto has such an incredible
independent arts community, and Veiled Garden is giving that community a space to come
together”

Each Veiled Garden lineup features four to five female-fronted bands/singers, selected for their
musical style and the magic they bring to the stage. Past events have featured performances
from recurring fan favourites including Rosewater Park, Lady Marge, and Frannie DJ, who have
helped establish the series as a continuing destination for Toronto music fans.
Beyond the music, Veiled Garden is designed as a full evening experience. Guests can grab
affordable concessions including hot dogs and pop, designed as a deliberate departure from
often expensive food and drink prices found at traditional concert venues. The space also
features interactive displays including a flower crown-making station to allow visitors to fully
immerse themselves in the experience.
The outdoor space is primarily standing room, with limited seating available. Artists also have
the opportunity to sell their own merchandise and music directly to attendees, with much of the
available merchandise being locally designed and produced for accessible prices.
The response to Veiled Garden’s events has been strong, with events that have continually sold
out, reflecting what organizers view as the growing appetite for more affordable and engaging
ways for the Toronto community to experience live music.
