THE EINES
Pronounced “Eens”
The name THE EINES might seem enigmatic, but the origin is refreshingly straightforward.
For this Toronto-based band, it’s a tongue-in-cheek nod to their creative catalysts: caffeine, codeine, and nicotine —
or “the ones” that fuel their art.
THE EINES are a group of high school musician friends who have been making music together since the mid-90s.
With airplay on college radio, CBC, and commercial rock stations, plus glowing reviews in regional and national
publications, they’ve built a reputation for catchy, melodic rock with real staying power.
They’ve taken their energetic live show coast to coast, with showcase appearances at Toronto’s NXNE and Canadian
Music Week. Their songs are a raw, relatable reflection of the human experience — the highs and the lows — set to
infectious hooks that get stuck in your head and your feet moving.
