Enough- All my friends are dead

Enough debuts in Toronto with an EP that could use some attention. All my friends are dead is an EP filled with all that good youthful angst that screams look at me!

The production on this EP is very high and clear. This is a band that wants to race to the next level of success very quickly.

Being a baby chicken has me wrapped up in all those youthful moments where our emotions can get the better of us. The experiences of life aren’t very fair, and we must yell about them as loudly as possible.

A song like- “Eroica” is going for an arena style rock with all the right hooks. When you talk about failing relationships, you need to make them as big as possible, and Enough has done that.

The other song that should be out there on some kind of radio station is their song- “Live, Laugh, Love”. This is another solid rocker that just gets under my chicken skin and gives me Goosebumps.

For me, “Afterthought”, hit home because this song sings about how small you can be in somebody else’s eyes. I know about small.

The last Song is called “In Memoriam” which is a perfect Goth, Emo, cry for my loss kind of song. If you are young and lost someone close to you, the desperation and pain that follows goes deep inside for a very long time. I think Enough creates that picture for you.

This is a band that is crafting their sound to be highly emotive and tries to let your heart bleed out in the open.

They will be playing Sneaky Dee’s this Thursday to present their new music to a live audience. You should go and see how much of their hearts are left out there on stage!
