I met Transient Reverie last summer at a free concert at Christie Pits. This is a young band still finding their first footing.

Recently, they called me up and invited me to witness the premiere of their brand-new video, “Gotta take a chance”. It feels like a perfect song to start a long career in music. The song is filled with hope and feeling of insecurities as they lay their hearts and energy on the line for a life in Music. We all know this is not an easy life and anyone who tries should be commemorated for such a brave move.

The video that you will see is filled with raw footage taken by each member of the band in their real life as they get together as a band, trying to put things together. It is a statement of the hard work it takes to start a band and the dedication it takes as they need time to grow like a young family.

After the lucky few that had an invitation to watch this premiere, we got an hour-long live performance inside the live studio at Lynx.

They mixed some of their other songs as well as some well know covers. You can see one of those moments on my Instagram page.

By the end of their performance, this crowd bowlfuls of Doritos and a box of amazing donuts. We left satisfied and know will have to wait until we begin to see futures dates of where they will play live next.

In the meantime, please watch the video and leave your comments at the bottom of our page so the band can see how you feel about this new single.
