JUDAS PRIEST ARE STILL METAL GODS as they  held service to the 5000 metal maniacs at Casino Rama last night. The band played their 3rd stop in Ontario in support of their new album “Fire Power”. The crowd worshipped lead singer Rob Halford, who still has one of the most powerful voices in metal.  They featured a few songs from the new album as well as their early masterpieces from British Steel, an album released almost 40 years ago.The crowd was on their feet, reliving metal’s past glory days with the songs, “Sinner”, “Heads Are Gonna Roll”, and “Breaking The Law”.  Halford said the band has been out on tour for the last 15 years and he acknowledged the fans, the Priest Family for keeping them going. He acknowledged the fans in the nosebleed seats waving their flags and went into their encore with “Electric Eye”, “Metal Gods” and “Livin” After Midnight”. A great and really really loud heavy metal experience!

  1. I saw the show in Oshawa a few weeks ago and thought it was great. Rob’s voice is sounded better then it has for the past 20 years. I know they’ve lowered the keys to some of the songs which is fine by me. It was great to hear Sinner, Running Wild, Saints in Hell and Bloodstone as I’ve never heard these songs live before. They were also suprises as they’re not played that often if at all. I only wished they played more songs off of Firepower as it is a good album. I really like Never the Heroes and Spectre and it would’ve been cool to hear those. But a great concert overall.
