Frank Soda is back and he is having fun. He played The Rockpile last Sunday to a bunch of dedicated fans. If you love the Canadian Rock scene back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, you should add Frank Soda to your bucket list. Back in the day, this guy was having a great time with his audience with other names like Nash the Slash, David Wilcox and Max Webster.
Like the great veterans of Rock, Frank showed his audience a good time from the opening note. He played a few great rockin’ numbers and then invited his old friend from 30 years ago to the stage to play a couple of tracks. Terry Watkinson , from Max Webster joined Frank for a couple of songs as well.
The fun evening got even more fun when he dedicated a slow song to a couple, who have been together for 34 years and had their first dance at their wedding to one of his songs.
Frank got to put on one of his fantastic heads. It looked like Halloween came early. It even spit fire near the end of his song. It was truly an entertaining evening and hopefully we will look forward to seeing Frank again soon.
