Guided by the principle “BETTER\, NOT BIGGER\,” the festival thrives on the energy of over 100 volunteers and offers a uniquely intimate experience. \n​ \nOur InitiativesOver the years\, KMJF has created: \n\n\nSeasonal music series in Kensington Market. \n\n\nArtist recordings\, including works by Laura Hubert and Billy Newton-Davis. \n\n\nKMJF Kids Music Series in collaboration with Yamaha Canada Music and St. Stephen’s Community House. \n\n\nBilly Newton-Davis is set to release a new album in 2024 through these initiatives. \nOur MissionKMJF exists to celebrate Toronto’s vibrant jazz culture\, foster community connection\, and champion local talent while respecting Kensington Market’s rich history.
